The Indian Chamber of Commerce in association with West Bengal Labour Welfare Board organized a grand seminar on “Role of Employer, Employee & Government in Labour Welfare – An Appeal for Socio-Economic Development” on 14/08/2013 in the auditorium of Indian Chamber of Commerce at Kolkata.  Sri Purnendu Basu, Minister-in-Charge, Labour Department, Government of West Bengal & Chairman of the Board delivered key note address before the representation of Employers and explained the importance of Labour Welfare in details and need to strengthen the West Bengal Labour Welfare Board.  Smt. Dola Sen, Eminent Trade Union Leader and other Government officials also addressed the assembly.  The seminar was presided over by eminent Industrialist Sri Sanjay Budhia.
